Acknowledging that we’re all sometimes guilty of taking star players for granted during their prime years, we take time to appreciate some of the truly great individual seasons from the relatively recent past such as Evgeni Malkin’s 2008-09 campaign.
We also try to figure out what to make of Sidney Crosby’s early season struggles, whether the great start by the Dallas Stars should force us to readjust our Central Division hierarchy, and how the coach’s challenge system can be ironed out as time goes on.
